Our female laser hair removal is designed for our female clients who want to reduce or totally remove any unwanted hair, permanently. Before commencing your sessions, clients will have to undergo a patch test to ensure there are no adverse affects from the treatment.
Achieve hair reduction in just 6 – 10 sessions, suitable for all skin types 1- 6 with brown – black facial and body hair. AW3 Crystal Freeze has revolutionary technology that utilises freezing of the laser applicator to numb the treated skin area, enabling customers to feel more comfortable during the procedure. Ideal for facial and intimate areas.
The freeze technology allows our technicians to increase fluence, ultimately leading to maximised hair removal results that other devices cannot achieve. By combining heat and cool, Crystal Freeze creates a win-win scenario that leads to optimal results for both the customer and the technician.
HOW DOES THE AW3 LASER HAIR REMOVAL WORK?
To achieve long-lasting or permanent hair reduction, it is necessary to destroy the hair follicle from which individual hairs grow. Well controlled pulses of light penetrate the upper skin layer and are absorbed by one of the body’s own natural chemicals– melanin– in the hair contained in the follicle. Melanin converts the light energy into heat. This heat is transferred to the hair follicle, which is destroyed, making it unable to produce new hair.
The AW3 laser treatment is only effective on growing hairs, as these are still attached to the follicle. The majority of our hair is in the resting phase, which explains why more than one treatment is necessary. This technique is called “Selective Photothermolysis”, and it’s important to note that only the hair follicles, not the hair shaft, must be destroyed. Unlike waxing or shaving, this treatment is not immediately visible to the naked eye.
Before Booking
Before booking your intimate laser sessions, we would ask you to pay attention to your menstrual cycle.
Menstruation can heighten sensitivity in the genital area, making the laser process more painful and uncomfortable.
Additionally, the presence of blood can interfere with the laser process, making it less hygienic and potentially more challenging for the laser technician to perform the procedure effectively. It’s advisable to schedule your laser for a time when you’re not menstruating to ensure a more comfortable and successful experience.
Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy
We will not be carrying out any intimate laser sessions during your period, and we will uphold the cancellation policy of requiring a minimum of 24hr notice for any cancellation/rescheduling for intimate laser treatments. This is due to hygienic reasons and comfortability for you and our staff.
Pre treatment care
It is important that before receiving the AW3 IPL/Laser treatment you follow the recommended pre‐treatment guidelines for 30 days prior to the treatment.
Hair Removal
Do not wax or thread hair from the treatment area.
Do not have electrolysis on the area.
Do not use depilatory creams on the treatment area.
Do not bleach on the treatment area.
Please shave the area to be treated the day before or on the day of treatment.
All Other Treatments
Do not use sun beds. ‐
Do not sun bathe.
Do not use tanning cream .
For Thread Vein, DO NOT SMOKE for 4 hours before the treatment.
Post treatment care
After any AW3 IPL/Laser treatment, it is common for the area to feel slightly warm. It is also common to experience some redness, local swelling and mild tenderness. These symptoms may appear immediately or a few days after treatment.
The use of 100 % Aloe Vera gel is recommended directly after treatment and for a further few days if necessary.
An ice cold compress can be applied if the area feels hot or uncomfortable.
A high SPF 30+ should be applied when outside for 4 weeks after treatment. Excessive exposure can cause hypo or hyper pigmentation of the skin.
For the next 48 hours (after all treatments):
Avoid all heat treatments such as steam rooms, saunas, hot baths, hot showers and excessive exercise.
Avoid all perfumed creams, soaps and lotions on the treatment area. Only use Aloe Vera gel.
Do not touch, pick or scratch the area (after skin rejuvenation or facial thread veins).
Except for Hair Removal, do not use any anti inflammatory products for ‐ 7 days.
