How does Anti-Wrinkle Injections work?
Our anti-wrinkle injections use a toxin to block the signals from the nerves to the muscles. This results in the muscles relaxing and stops them from contracting, helping to smooth out lines and tighten your skin for an overall rejuvenated appearance.
Why are more younger women getting Anti-Wrinkle Injections?
Anti-Wrinkle Injections are very popular amongst younger women as their aim is to prevent the facial muscles creating folds where expression lines and wrinkles can develop. Another reason for younger women getting Anti-Wrinkle Injections is the popularity of the eyebrow lift which is aimed to create a more arched eyebrow.
What is Hyperhidrosis? And how are Anti-Wrinkle Injections used to treat excessive sweating?
Hyperhidrosis is a condition where someone sweats excessively. The sweating may affect the whole body, but more commonly it affects areas such as: underarms, palms of hands and feet.
If you experience excessive sweating in the underarms, feet or hands we can treat them with Anti-Wrinkle Injections, as the toxin reduces the amount of sweat that can be produced by blocking the signals sent to the nerves that control the sweat glands.
What is Bruxism? And how are Anti-Wrinkle Injections used to slim the face?
Bruxism is the scientific word given to teeth grinding, where you rub your teeth together and clench your jaw, often without realising it. This can be uncomfortable for people usually resulting in waking up with a tight jaw and also a protruding massater muscle. For women, a strong massater muscle is avoided as it can can appear quite masculine. Bruxism is treated popularly with women who want that particular muscle to reduce, to give the illusion of a slimmer face.
