WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Microblading is a manual technique done by hand with a pen like tool, not machine. Microblading method allows us to deposit pigment closer to the surface/outer layer of the skin giving us the most natural crisp results. We create thin lines flowing in the direction of your natural hair growth to mimic realistic hair can which can camouflage any missing eyebrow hair.

DO YOU ALSO OFFER OMBRE / POWDER BROWS/ COMBINATION METHOD?
We offer other styles of semi permanent brows such as ombre which is shading techniques using a machine to created pixelated soft powder effect. As well as combination of Microblading hair strokes with ombre for those with really sparse brows wanting to create more definition while still keeping them natural looking.

WHO IS THIS MICROBLADING FOR?
Microblading is a great option for almost anyone, especially those looking to fill out over plucked or sparse brows or anyone who has Alopecia or hair loss following chemotherapy. Other options such as hair stoke brows/powder brow may be better if you are extremely oily or have a medical condition that would not suit microblading. Your practitioner will advise you on which option would be best for you.

If you have had previous brow tattoo work, please send an image via our Instagram specifically for Microblading: @l8nbs_microblading This treatment is not for those who are currently pregnant, breastfeeding, currently having chemo, prone to keloid scarring or if you have any auto immune conditions please check with your doctor for clearance.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY MICROBLADING APPOINTMENT?

Medication: Do NOT take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen for 72 hours prior to your procedure. Paracetamol is fine. Do not discontinue necessary medications without consulting your Dr first. Accutane. You have to be off Accutane for a minimum of 3 months.Caffeine: no caffeine or energy drinks before your treatment as can increase blood flow and bleeding which can effect your healed resultsTreatments: Leave your brows to grow so your artist can asses your natural hair growth. Do not have any chemical peels or any other intense facial treatments 3-4 weeks before procedure. Botox treatment in forehead area wait 2 weeks before or after.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON THE DAY OF MY APPOINTMENT?

We spend up to 2 hours total on the day of your appointment.Step 1: we spend most of the time designing your shape, going over colours and discussing your desired look. Step 2: We map out the perfect shape to suits your facial features best. We choose a colour that matches your natural hair colour and skin tone. We won’t start until you are completely happy with the shape and colour selected. Step 3: We carry out the process and then when finished take after pictures of your new brows as well as going over aftercare.

DOES MICROBLADING HURT?

Some clients don’t feel a thing while others describe the feeling as like having your brows threaded/ scratched. We apply numbing cream before and throughout the process to make you feel extra relaxed and comfortable.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Our Microblading brow treatment costs £350 including a complementary top up.

HOW WILL I LOOK AFTER MY TREATMENT?

Most of our clients will look perfectly normal after the treatment, if you are prone to rosacea or have very sensitive skin, you make look a little red around the area for a couple of hours afterwards but this will fade quickly. Most people resume normal activities directly after the session.

IS THE COMPLIMENTARY TOUCH UP APPOINTMENT NECESSARY?

With Semi Permanent Make up we require two sessions for the pigment to fully take to the skin. A second session is followed up 4-6 weeks after they have fully healed to then perfect your shape and go over the hair strokes. After your perfecting session your brow treatment is complete giving you full brows for up to 1-3 years.

MICROBLADING - MIXED SKIN

HOW LONG WILL THEY LAST?

The results are extremely natural and will last around 12 months before a refresh session is recommended at a discounted price. Depending on your skin type, diet, lifestyle and activities as well as how the brows are taken care of after the treatment brows can last up to 2 years. Generally Semi Permanent eyebrows are meant to break down over time so they stay natural looking like your own.Semi Permanent brows are not meant to last longer than 3 years as this will then will look like the old school style of tattoo brows. Our artist recommends a natural brow style that mimics your own natural hairs.
